Parent or guardian required for each participant
Kids, show off your ice fishing skills by completing the 50 Yard Dash! The fastest to complete the
course in each category will win $100 cash!
The Youth Ice Olympics will be located at center ice and is free of charge and is open to youth 17
years and younger. The first 100 youth to try the course will receive a Mills Fleet Farm Fishing Package
($100 value). First Place (best time in course competition) for each of the three age categories will
receive $100 cash! Age Categories: 9 yrs & under * 10 - 13 yrs * 14 - 17 yrs
Olympics Description:
Located on center ice - 50 yard dash where participant must complete a series of ice fishing tasks as fast
as they can. Each participant will be timed and judges will verify individual tasks are fully completed
before allowing the participant to move on to next task. A leader board will post best times for each
age category.
Course Tasks:
1) From Starting Line, Drag Clam Portable Fish house 15 yards to ice auger
2) Crank Bladeless Strikemaster Hand Auger for 20 cranks / Set Up Portable over hole
3) Clear Slush from Hole with hand dipper
4) Drop Transducer in Hole & Identify Bottom Depth
5) Count How Many Fish you see on the underwater camera
6) Reel in weighted line and place rod in bucket
7) Identify 3 fish species from a photo board
8) Pick Up Garbage on ice and place in bag
9) Carry Garbage bag to Finish Line
